The special congressional election in NY-21 is a place we need to be. While the numbers in regular elections over the last few cycles do not seem favorable… consider…. there are over 10,000 - at last count - federal employees in NY-21. There are also lots of farmers who sell their wares to our government (until last week) and across the district's long border with Canada. Oh, yes, that border - farm labor matters here. Every special election is now nationalized.. viz the WI Supreme Court election on April 1st. The special election in NY-21 is no different and every bit as significant given the narrow margins in the US House. Blake Gendebein… a second-generation dairy farmer and local activist is the Democratic Candidate in NY 21.
