CFA Meeting: The Power of Story to Grow Democracy

The Committee for the First Amendment is thrilled to invite you to our next virtual Community Meeting in partnership with Democracy 2076. Stories shape how we understand democracy, and in this moment, how we tell them matters more than ever. Democracy 2076 recently partnered with Harmony Labs to publish a report, examining how entertainment media shapes public understanding of democracy, trust in institutions, and people’s sense of agency about the future. We will be joined by Executive Director Aditi Juneja and Program Director Melody Mohebi, who will lead a conversation about how our industry can use storytelling to promote democratic values and civic imagination. We hope you’ll join us on Thursday, March 12th at 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET.
