About the event
HD-35 in Allegheny County was left vacant after Rep Matt Gersley passed away in January. Because there is a one seat majority in the House, this one unfilled seat means the chamber is tied. That means winning this district is key to protecting the one-seat House majority that our Giving Circles Community helped to win in 2022, defended 3 times in 2023, and defended again (against major headwinds!) this past November.
